School Leadership Academy hosts Hub visit for Hong Kong Principals

- The School Leadership Academy (SLA) brought 19 current and former Principals of Hong Kong schools on an exclusive tour of the Kindervarsity Hub (the “Hub”), to gain a first-hand experience of the Hub’s “Kindervarsity” model. Participating Principals represented the Conference of Sheng Kung Hui Secondary School, the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council, the Hong Kong Principals’ Institute, and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Education Services.
- Following the tour, Dr. Arnett Edwards, SLA Founding Director took the opportunity to share some preliminary findings of SLA’s latest research: “Inquiry: From Middle Leader to Senior Leader/Principal – Future-focused Succession Planning”, along with the development of its school leadership framework.
- On the day, Professor Ming Liu, Director, the Robotics and Multi-Perception Lab (RAM-LAB) of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology also delivered a presentation about autonomous vehicles in logistics.
- Thank you to all Principals who participated in the tour, and especially to Professor Liu for his insightful sharing. It is hoped that this gathering is just the beginning of more collaborations, with the Kindervarsity Hub set up to be an exchange platform to connect educational leaders from Hong Kong and Mainland China, to jointly shape the future of education for our new generations.
