Join as Mentor

We are actively seeking mentors who are willing to provide valuable support and guidance to school leaders who join the academy, assisting them on their leadership journeys.

By sharing their expertise and experiences, mentors play a vital role in empowering and nurturing the growth of aspiring and current school leaders.

We are seeking individuals who fall under the following categories:

Retired school leaders such as principals, senior leaders, and middle leaders who have recently retired and possess valuable experience and insights to mentor and support other school leaders in the academy.

Retired business leaders and academics who possess an interest in education and whose unique perspectives and expertise can contribute to the development and growth of school leaders.

Other leaders who are passionate about making a positive impact in the education sector and have available time to join us as mentors.

The responsibilities of the mentor include:

Serving as a mentor to a protégée with a time commitment of 8-10 hours for a duration of one year. This involves providing guidance, support, and sharing insights based on your experience.

Assisting the protégée in their "leadership endeavour" by offering advice, feedback, and assistance throughout the project. This involves helping them navigate challenges, develop strategies, and achieve their goals.

Maintaining a supportive mindset towards the protégées, creating a positive and encouraging environment that fosters their growth, development, and confidence as emerging leaders.

As a mentor in our Mentorship Program, you will receive the following:

An SLA Certificate of Mentor Training:

You will be awarded a certificate recognising your completion of the Mentor Training, which validates your expertise and commitment to the mentorship role.

A Record of Achievement of Mentorship:

You will receive a record documenting your participation and successful engagement as a mentor in the programme, acknowledging your contributions to the development of school leaders.

A small remuneration:

In appreciation of your time and dedication, you will receive a modest compensation for your mentorship services.
